TOBIAS ON LOCKS AND INSECURITY ENGINEERING: A new book to mitigate design flaws

Tobias on Locks and Insecurity Engineering is available from John Wiley & Company in March 2024. It is written for design engineers, risk managers, crime labs, attorneys, and criminal investigators, as well as engineering students. it is 700 pages of detailed information about why locks can be defeated and provides information to mitigate design errors. Marc Tobias is the author of the 1400-page primary reference, Locks, Safes, and Security: An International Police Reference (second edition) published by Charles C. Thomas. He is also the author of Open in Thirty Seconds; Cracking one of the Most Secure Locks in America. 

Wiley is offering a companion set of the Tobias book with the Ross Anderson Insecurity Engineering, which analyzes the design of systems from the perspective of cyder security.  This book was the impetus for the idea for Tobias on Locks and insecurity Engineering. The two books are available from Amazon and Wiley.
